We offer soundproofing glazing, which is an ideal solution for people who are sensitive to noise coming from outside. Living in the center of the city, despite its great location, can be a nuisance primarily because of noise. However, you can get rid of it by investing in sound-insulating glazing. Once the source of the noise has been determined and sound-absorbing glazing has been selected, the noise level can be leveled so that it does not annoy us. Protection against noise is achieved by using glass of different thicknesses in packages, glued glass with a suitable film and the space between the panes can be filled with special damping gases.
Due to the action of many factors of varying importance and influence on noise attenuation, the selection of sound-absorbing glass should be handled by a suitably qualified person in order to individually assess the noise level and fit a glazing set with the appropriate level of sound attenuation.
This is an activity that has a major impact on achieving adequate room comfort. In defining the sound characteristics of building partitions, a quantity called the weighted sound insulation index “Rw” and the correction factors “C” and “Ctr” are used, or better yet, the specific sound insulation coefficient RA2 is used.<\/p>\n\n
