Fire glass
Fire glass is based on hard gel manufacturing technology. Maximum dimension for fire-resistant glazing: 2700 x 4800 mm.
– Glazing has passed fire tests in the PONZIO PE78EI system
– The stability of the gel was confirmed by independent tests at TÜV Rheinland. The samples passed the UV and aging test.
What sets us apart is:
– certainty of optical stability of the gel – the gel does not cloudy ( TÜV tests )
– The gel has a very high translucency due to the use of the best and purest ingredients. According to the TUV institute, the glass has a light transmittance of 89.60%.
– Refined fire glass manufacturing process to minimize the phenomenon of opalescence in tempered glass(anisotropy), confirmed by independent tests. This allows the use of glass where opalescence is not tolerated (facades) or areas with a high incidence of light polarization (areas close to the sea).
– use of a warm spacer in the fire glass, which affects its performance (low thermal conductivity of the edge of the glass) and improved protection properties in the coastal zone of the fire glass)
– possibility to make bent glass
Anisotropy phenomenon in tempered glass
The glass used for fire glass has minimized anisotropy, which is confirmed by the iLook scanner installed on the tempering line. In addition to anisotropy, the optical deformation of glass is also studied, among other things. Waviness from the rollers and bending of the edges in the glass.
The device works online, making it possible to examine all the glass produced during the tempering process. We are able to issue a quality certificate for each glass to confirm the assumed quality.
Our offer includes FIRE-BLOCK EI30 and EI60 fire protection glazing.
